A walk along the canals. Wind in your hair by the sea. The two of you, with nowhere else to be. Let’s make photographs that feel like your kind of love.
City walks, close embraces and open horizons. Love stories with warmth, movement and a little cinematic atmosphere.

Your experience
A little direction. A lot of you.
A love story session can mark an engagement, an anniversary or a chapter that needs no occasion at all. We choose a place that feels right, plan around the light, and leave room for walking, talking and the unplanned moments in between.
Amsterdam offers an intimate city backdrop; The Hague and the coast give us space and softer horizons. Couples sessions are available throughout the Netherlands. Your own neighbourhood or a meaningful place is always a good starting point.

Before we begin
A few things you may wonder.
Is this suitable for an engagement or proposal?
Yes, we can discuss an engagement session or plan photography around a proposal. For a surprise, send the details privately in advance so we can work out the practicalities.
What should we wear?
Choose clothes you feel comfortable moving in. Textures and a considered colour palette often work well with my editing. Once we know the location and season, we can discuss outfits together.
Can we book a love story in Den Haag?
Yes. We can discuss a city walk in The Hague or a session towards the coast, depending on your preferred atmosphere, the light and access to the location.
What happens if the weather changes?
We’ll discuss a weather plan before the session. A different time, a sheltered location or a new date may make sense; any changes are agreed together.
Planning your session
A little preparation.
What to wear for a couples, portrait or family photoshoot
Choose clothes you can move, sit and breathe comfortably in. The most useful outfit is one that feels like you and works with the location. A cinematic photograph does not require a special wardrobe.
Make a weather plan before the day arrives. Cloud, a light shower and persistent rain call for different decisions. The aim is a session you can enjoy, with the final location and any changes agreed together.
